The E-flite UMX Twin Otter BNF Basic Electric Airplane is modeled after the iconic twin-engine DHC-6 Twin Otter produced by De Havilland in 1965. Developed as a rugged STOL plane, the plane was used to carry passengers and cargo into harsh environments like the sub-zero Antarctic and the scorching North African desert. In 2005 Viking Air Limited purchased the production rights and announced the Viking Series 400 Twin Otter. E-flite has faithfully replicated the stunning details of this plane down to UMX scale.
